IMPORTANT SWIM SERIES SUN MOVED TO MULLAGHMORE

As you would have seen at rosses point on monday the weather has been pretty bad resulting in rough sea conditions continuing into sunday. With that in mind we've taken the decision after consulation with our water safety crews to move this sunday's swim series race to mullaghmore. Based on current wind models and swell predictions the event would not run in rosses point.

Mullaghmore beach is very much sheltered compared to Rosses Point meaning it won't be hit by the same swell and wind won't be near as strong. It's a nice swimming beach and will be familiar to anyone who's done the mullaghmore triathlon.

We will meet at the beach car park in Mullaghmore with registration starting at 2:45pm and finishing at 3:30pm. The race will get underway at 4pm.

If you raced on Monday don't forget to bring your yellow hat.

We could have changed to another date but it would mean a lot of people could miss the reorganised date due to family or work commitments so the fairest thing was to change venue.
