It was a lot warmer today!

Had a great turn out for the 2nd club sea swim today. Pictured are all the participants. Thanks go to Cecilia McGuinness and Scot Reid for taking the beginners out, and to Matt McGarrigle for looking after the advanced group.

The intermediate group covered over 600m on their swim with a run immediately afterwards, a loop of the first beach. We did some porpoise dive start/finish drills at the end and stressed the importance of relaxing while swimming and getting your head down in the water.
We will continue to work on sighting with all groups.

Next session on Friday with meet up for 6:15pm aiming to be in the water for 6:30pm. Water felt much warmer on a high tide with less of a wind chill, lot more enjoyable than fri!

If you're swimming outside the club sessions don't under any circumstances swim on your own in open water.

Newcomers remain more than welcome
