Lough Gill Swim

Good atmosphere in the build up to the lough gill 8.5km swim on sat in aid of the NW Hospice. We have a lot of Sligo Tri Club Members taking part including John Hanley & his son Padraig, Paul Burns, Sam McGarry, Sandra Deery, Anthony Blake, Skinny McMorrow, Kieran Fitzgerald, Lynsey Dunne, Caoimhe Ni Mhurachu, David Downes, Stewart McKenna and Shane O'Doherty. It promises to be a unique spectacle and the organisers are very keen to raise as much funds as possible for the very worthy cause. They're inviting people to come along especially to the finish at Aughamore Boathouse to welcome the weary swimmers home. Start is 2pm at shriff but will be a long while before anyone's home.
