The club has booked the Sligo IT for a Brick/Track coached session on Wednesday nights. The club has access to approx 15 turbo trainers for the session and we have well over 30 registered. Please bring your own turbo or if you can beg or borrow bring any spare turbos.
The Brick session. Meet @ 6.30pm (Setting up turbos- first come first serve for the turbos). The turbos will either be set up in the pavillion or at the side of the track. Please bring a towel, cycling/running gear, heart rate monitor( If you have one) and some fluids.
The coached Track session will be varying interval track session and we will be meeting up at 6.45pm for a warm up etc. The track session will be intervals, running drills and strides focused and will cater for everyone.
There will be a number of coaches on hand for both sessions. Anyone who wants to use the track without coaching can avail of the facilites for free. There are shower facilities at the club.
This is an ideal session that caters for all club members and should be a good focus for the rest of the summer. So all those members that are in hiding please come out and support.
