Open water swim coached session
Starting on Friday night (8th of July) for the next couple of weeks the club will be hosting open water swimming coached session and transition practice on a Friday Nights at Rosses Point. There will be a couple of coaches available and we will be practicing entry's, exits, sighting, navigating buoys and most importantly drafting. We will also be showing how structure intervals into your open water swimming. The session will last for approx 1 hr and will be followed by a 30 minute run. Just turn up on Friday evening and bring your wetsuits and runners. Contact Colm casey.colm@gmail.com - for more information. Wednesday Brick Session.
The club will also be hosting a COACHED brick session (Bike- Run) on Wednesday evenings at the IT. We are going to use turbo/trainers and hopefully the track if the numbers are suitable. There is a gantry at the IT for the wet evenings and nobody minds running in the rain. The club intends to book the track at the IT on a Wednesday evening for the brick session but the track will also be available if anyone wants to just do a track session. If you are interested in this session please EMAIL Cecilia as we will need numbers for the turbo trainers.
The club are providing coaches for these two sessions and they are targeting all club members. So please support. They are coaches sessions and they are free of charge
