Things are very tight in all the divisions so it's all to play for and should provide for some exciting racing.
Registration will be open from 5:15 - 5:45pm on Saturday in the usual area.
Distance is 1.5km, as you will have noticed there's a significant current at rosses point which we swim with from right to left, this was particularly strong last week. The distance won't feel as long out there so is ideal for less experienced swimmers.
We're having the post race barbeque straight afterwards in Harry's Bar in Rosses Point. There will be a presentation of prizes and a chance to meet and thank the Civil Defence, Kayak Club and Sub Aqua Club for their help during the course of the series. We will be making a presentation to Sligo Cancer Support Centre. There will be live music (bluegrass) in the bar after the presentation.
All club members are invited to attend and to bring along some support, there will be plenty of burgers and salads to be had.
